Martin Ferreyra
Martin Ferreyra was born in the City of Córdoba, Argentina. He is a psychologist by training and primarily self-taught when it comes to the arts. In recent years he has participated in festivals, exhibitions and residencies in Amsterdam, Spain, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, Mexico, Canada and the USA. His works both in painting and ceramics, creating his own world within his visual imagination. Martin's work reflects concepts of identity, ritual, and myth latent in the collective unconscious of our culture. He currently resides in the Oaxaca, Mexico, where he runs La Cochera, an exhibition space for himself among other local artists, anchored in the historic center of the arts-focused city.
