Lost Mountain
This printmaking duo is comprised of Rosy Kirby and Matt Comstock, who together specialize in small batch serigraph prints and narrative illustrations inspired by the woods of southern Appalachia and beyond.
Behind the scenes Matt mostly wrangles print production and Rosy drawings and design, although they do trade hats from time to time. Brought together by their love of traditional printmaking, they been slinging ink together for nearly five years. The pair were born two days apart, Rosy two hours north on a blueberry farm in Southwest Virginia and Matt in Charlotte, North Carolina. They now live just east of Asheville where they pull prints and spin records in their refurbished tool shed.
