Britchida
Britchida is a community taught artist living and working in Oregon with their wife Danielle and dogs Elsa and Miyoko. Every day, Brit eats peanut butter cereal and spends as much time as possible listening to moody pop through sound canceling headphones.
Brit began creating artwork and sharing online in 2017 as a way to visualize the feelings that felt most impossible to explain. By day, Brit works part-time in a hospital as a physical therapist, spending time with people who are finding new ways of living in their bodies. They have the understanding that healing is a type of adapting, and that it is a creative task, something we can help each other with. Brit makes art as a way to heal and offer back to their community some gifts for resilience.
